After a nice hike in October, we returned. Everything was perfect . We will be back.
We wanted to have lunch there with our child. After a long wait at the door (due to Corona, the guests are seated) we were told that we cannot eat now because the construction workers from the area now have lunch and would come to eat. We were offered to come back after 1 hour then the construction workers would be ready. Not feasible for us with a toddler. When we walked by about 20 minutes later we saw 4! Construction workers who spent their lunch break there. If you, as a host, offer so many places you have to be able to cope with the fact that all places might be occupied. A pity
The room was very clean, everything was available (also various cosmetics), the Kaiserschmarrn is a poem, super delicious, very friendly waiter, highly recommended! we'll be back .... The schnizel was made in the pan.
Rooms clean and functional, unfortunately no catering although the inn would be open until 6 p.m., house tigers in the inn, where they unfortunately do not belong, despite all the animal love.
Friendly well. Kaiserschmarren according to grandma’s recipe, too, well. You can do it. But for the money it's everywhere.
Very nice outside seating. Comfortable and undisturbed. The food is good, but very small portions. 1 bread dumpling with chanterelle sauce 13.90 euros. For sausage salad: meat loaf and cheap cheese for 10.90 with a slice of bread. However, the homemade cheesecake was really 👍. Piece of cake 3.80. Cup of coffee for 3.50 !!!! But still it was ok because we were hungry. The beer is great.
Nice and quick service. Kaiserschmarrn and pancakes as well as drinks were brought to the table quickly. First the drinks and in about 10 minutes the food. Portions were decent. I would rate the price / performance ratio as good. We sat outside when the weather was nice. We found the seating a bit uncomfortable, a chair cushion could have helped. But unfortunately none were available. Would recommend the restaurant though. 👍
Delicious soup. Nice service.
Very nice cozy and service very friendly
Have had rather negative experiences in terms of friendliness in recent years. Food and ambience are pleasant. In times of Covid-19 the staff seemed a bit annoyed.
Our arrival was at 3:30 p.m., there is a complaint on the homepage and on the street advertising that there is warm kitchen until 4:15 p.m. However, we had no Kaiserschmarrn anymore because the chef apparently had other obligations. The way was in vain. A bad destination for spontaneous travelers.
Unfriendly and stressed service. Card was peppered briskly on the table. Price-performance ratio is not correct at all. Cup of cappuccino € 4.20. Latte machiatto € 4.80. Every alp in the mountains is cheaper, friendlier and offers a nice view. Unfortunately not recommended after our visit.
Friendly service, unfortunately a lot of noise from the construction site, otherwise highly recommended
Nothing was horrible but nothing was really good either ... Noodle soup with dry and bland pieces of beef, cheese-flavored spaetzle with no apparent cheese 🙄, apfelstrudels: 1 with icing sugar, other no ... Unwelcoming staff but not rude either. In short we ate but that's it, and especially for an exorbitant addition while this restaurant and at the bottom of the slopes.
Rude staff. Are only focused on people who are supposed to eat there. We were denied access to have a drink. Not recommended for tourism. 👎👎
Food is ok the service a bit rude because they were probably a little overwhelmed with such a full house. I got a meal that I did not order and later a drink that I did not order. That can happen is not so bad now because I always got the right one. The second star deduction is that you cannot pay with a card here even though a card reader is available (a prankster who thinks bad). You can get cash at the Söllereckbahn ticket office. Prices are comparatively cheap if you compare that to a ski hut. Would go back anyway was fine.
Everything great. Service, breakfast and value for money. Location great.
The waiters are massively overwhelmed. At first I was completely ignored when taking drinks, then I got nothing again and then suddenly 4! of the desired drink. Then when I refused, the waitress angrily put it on the table and left. My companion then did not receive your food. And then asking 30 euros for a schnitzel with a drink is extremely outrageous.
Rude treatment by the boss, what you have to put up with as a local is impossible, it was said of her to sit down and be quiet even though you only asked something. So if I would treat my guests like that then cheers meal. Thank goodness the staff knows how to deal with guests !!!!
Gut
Great food, service could be better. However the younger servers are a refreshing change to the others.
A slightly more expensive restaurant. Staff o.k. Food delicious.
The review is related to the restaurant rather than the accommodation. We had lunch here for 2 days while on our lunch break during skiing lessons. The portion sizes were huge but the food was bland and lacked any depth. However the lady who served us was very good and friendly, she spoke to the chef about my wife's gluten allergy and provided good options hence I've given 2 stars rather then just 1.
This wonderful little bed and breakfast was a nearly perfect stay while we were in Oberstdorf, Germany. The room was quite large, provided a sitting area to the side of the sleeping area and featured views of the mountains. While it is located ~10 minutes form Oberstdorf City Center, it is surrounded by attractions. Would recommend!
We weren't accepted into the establishment, not a very nice service. Sad!
